Historic Houston Law Firm Elects New Chair

Kenneth L. Stewart will be taking the title of Chair of the Executive Committee at the international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.

Lauded for his work with clients on everything from securities transactions to $2.7 billion mergers, Stewart is expected to bring his expertise in client-focused law practice to his new position.

Stewart will be taking over for current Chair Steven B. Pfieffer as of January, 2013. “I am confident than [Stewart’s] forward-thinking leadership will take the firm and its clients to new heights,” said Pfieffer.

The Houston, Texas-based law firm Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. has a history stretching back to 1919, over which there have been six previous Chairs. The firm hosts 351 partners and a full 851 lawyers, the day-to-day work and company strategy of whom Stewart will be guiding.
