K&L Gates Welcomes Hong Kong Capital Markets Partner

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Iris Leung as a corporate/capital markets partner in its Hong Kong office. Leung joins K&L Gates from the Hong Kong office of Linklaters.

Both U.S.- and Hong Kong-qualified, Leung has advised issuers and underwriters on a significant number of landmark listings of Chinese and multinational companies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as in other major global financial markets. She has also advised bulge bracket investment banks and private equity and venture capital funds in innovative capital markets and M&A transactions and with strategic investments.

Leung’s arrival follows the earlier additions of corporate partners Elio Marena (Milan), Yoanna Stefanova (Luxembourg), Josh Berick and Amanda Albert (New York), Jason Lee (Orange County), Victor Chang (Washington, D.C.), and Jason Putnam Gordon (San Francisco) during the past year. They are among more than 130 partners and of counsel the firm has welcomed across its platform since the beginning of 2020, with K&L Gates also continuing its strategic growth through the establishment of new offices in Luxembourg and Nashville, Tenn. in 2021.
