International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has acted for Boyu Capital on its strategic investment in Stelux Holdings International Limited (“Stelux”) through the subscription for HK$371 million of unsecured convertible bonds issued by Stelux.
Hong Kong-listed Stelux is one of the largest mid-end watch and optical retailers in Asia.
The Freshfields team advising Boyu Capital was led by corporate partner Simon Weller who was assisted by senior associate Henriette van Overklift, associates Heather Ong, Shan An and Valerie Lai and trainee Stewart Walker.
