David K. Cho Joins Dechert’s Hong Kong Corporate Practice

Dechert LLP announced today that David K. Cho has joined the firm’s Hong Kong office as a partner in the Corporate and Securities practice. Cho was most recently a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

Cho has advised major companies throughout Asia on a wide range of complex corporate transactions and financings, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, U.S. SEC-registered public offerings and Rule 144A/Regulation S and equity/debt and equity-linked offerings. He has significant experience representing clients in the energy, telecommunications, banking and life sciences industries.

Cho is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law (J.D., 1995) and the University of California, Los Angeles (B.A., 1992). He is admitted to practice in California and Illinois and is a member of both the Law Society of Hong Kong and the American Bar Association.
