O’Melveny & Myers Taps New Head for Its Hong Kong Office

International law firm O’Melveny & Myers tapped one of its own to head up its office in a China office, according to a press release.

David Johnson advances from being capital markets partner in Century City, Los Angeles, California, to a key Hong Kong legal job.

Johnson brings his 25 years of experience to being the new top official with the Hong Kong office.

 

“Expanding our Hong Kong office capabilities and strengthening our capital markets practice are key components of our larger plans for growing O’Melveny’s presence in Asia and we’re fortunate to have Dave Johnson leading those efforts,” chairman Bradley J. Johnson often is the target for companies, boards and special committees for his legal advice, making this one notable legal advancement for the firm.
