DLA Piper Strengthens Hong Kong & Greater China Finance & Projects Practice

DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Robert Caldwell as a partner in its Hong Kong and Greater China Finance & Projects practice. Robert joins DLA Piper from King & Wood Hong Kong (formerly Arculli Fong & Ng) where he was a partner.

Robert has extensive experience acting for financial institutions and sponsors in project and structured finance transactions in the Asia Pacific Region, having practised law for over 24 years in Australia, London and Hong Kong. His experience includes advising a range of sponsors on offshore and onshore fund establishment and their investments in the PRC. He has also been involved in a range of real estate financings, acquisition finance transactions, debt restructurings and cross-border asset finance transactions and advises various local and foreign resources companies in the oil & gas and mining sectors.
