Dentons Cohen & Grigsby Adds Two Experienced Litigators to the New Expanded Platform

Dentons Cohen & Grigsby announced today that litigators, Samuel W. Braver and Deborah A. Little, have joined the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. Prior to joining Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, Braver and Little practiced at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC.

Braver and Little, both licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida, are recognized for their decades of litigation success in sophisticated estate & trust, intellectual property, and in products liability matters.

Braver, a highly successful trial lawyer, has represented a wide variety of commercial and financial institutions in state and federal courts throughout the United States regarding complex estate litigation, lending issues, complex commercial litigation and intellectual property issues. He is also very active in corporate governance and healthcare litigation.

Little’s general commercial litigation practice spans more than of 30 years with an emphasis on product liability litigation to her current focuses on estates & trust litigation. Little is currently in the certification process for the Florida Bankers Association Trust and Wealth Management School. In recent years, she has been involved with several orphans’ court trials and appeals. With respect to her practice, she has experience across the medical device, pharmaceutical and automotive industries.

Braver currently serves on a statewide committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association reviewing candidates for appellate judgeships in Pennsylvania. He has also served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and in federal court arbitration proceedings and private arbitration. He has been appointed by the local Federal Bench to serve as both a Discovery Master and also as a mediator. He currently serves as a Chair of a federal court program sitting as part of a panel with federal court judges.

Little is a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Law and the founding executive director of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. She is an active member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Civil Litigation and Probate & Trust Law Section and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Probate & Trust Law Section, and Florida Bar Out-of-State Division.

Both Braver and Little have outstanding reputations serving many of the region’s civic and charitable organizations, both past and present. Braver was the Treasurer of the Jewish Community Center of Pittsburgh Treasurer, a member of its Board of Directors, Chair of Budget Finance Committee, and is a past Volunteer of The Year. Little has served on the boards of various healthcare and social services organizations throughout her career.
