Attorney Mark H. Zietlow Joins Clark Hill

Mark H. Zietlow has joined Clark Hill as a member of the Corporate Practice Group and an adjunct member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Mr. Zietlow is located in Clark Hill’s Grand Rapids office. He will concentrate his practice in business, corporate and taxation, international transactions, employment law, trademark licensing and registration, construction law, dealership, distribution and franchising, e-commerce, nonprofit organizations, and business litigation.

Mr. Zietlow was previously the Legal and Administrative Officer for Robotics International Corporation, Jackson, Michigan.  Robotics International Corporation was a high-tech company engaged in design and development of robotics for security, household tasks, and entertainment.

Mr. Zietlow earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude , from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio; Juris Doctor from the Ohio State University College of Law; Master of the Science of Taxation, with distinction, from the Grand Valley State University Seidman School of Business; and Master of Arts, with honors, from the Ohio State University Graduate School of Public Policy and Management.

Mr. Zietlow is a frequent lecturer on legal issues for the National Business Institute, Lorman Education Services, Holland Area Chamber of Commerce, Muskegon Chamber of Commerce, and Lakeshore Human Resources Management Association.  He serves on boards of directors, advisory committees, and cabinets for both profit and nonprofit organizations. He will be Chairman of the 80th Anniversary Tulip Time Festival.  He has also served on the board of directors for National Child Safety Council, Center for Dispute Resolution, Voluntary Action Center, Child Development Services, and Ottawa County Bar Association.

Mr. Zietlow is admitted to practice in Michigan, Ohio, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.  Mr. Zietlow’s professional memberships include the Business Law Section and the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the National Association of Dealer Counsel.  He has been accepted by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a designated 504 Closing Attorney.
