2007 is documented as being the best year for the United States’ top law firms. The top 50 firms made a total of $46.6 billion in revenue. Compared to 2006’s total of $40.3 billion, this means a 16 percent increase. The firms of DLA Piper, Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, and Latham & Watkins topped the records by making than $2 billion in annual revenue or more.
