DeMaurice Smith, a litigator from the D.C. office of Latham & Watkins, made a move to Patton Boggs last week. Smith was formerly a prosecutor and a counsel, but at this firm he says he’ll focus on white-collar criminal defense matters and tort liability trials. Other Latham lawyers have moved to Patton Boggs this year; in April 30 litigators from Latham’s Newark office joined the team.
