The Mergers & Acquisitions Team at leading Asian law firm King & Wood Mallesons will be further strengthened by the arrival of one of the region’s top private equity lawyers. Mark McNamara joins King & Wood Mallesons on 6th November 2012 as Head of Private Equity, from Baker & McKenzie
He will head up a team of around 60 partners and lawyers, working alongside Private Equity M&A Partners Mike Barker, Lee Horan and Jason Watts, together with a market-leading Banking team led by Partners, Yuen-Yee Cho and Jeff Clark, to build what the firm expects to be the preeminent PE Team in the region.

Mark McNamara was most recently the global head of the PE practice at Baker & McKenzie and also the head of its Australian corporate markets practice. His area of expertise lies across the full range of M&A transactions for private equity clients – MBOs / LBOs, public takeovers, private M&A and security offerings. He is regularly ranked the leader in his field in PLC, Chambers and the Best Lawyers annual survey.
