Dentons has bolstered its corporate capabilities in Jordan with the hire of partner Ala’ George Musleh earlier this month. Since qualifying to practice in Jordan in 1999, Ala’ has advised both Jordanian and international clients on a wide range of leading corporate and commercial, energy, finance aviation and litigation matters.
Ala’ has particular expertise in the energy sector focusing on power generation, renewables, oil and gas and other natural resources where he has advised clients on negotiations, project agreements and approvals, as well as finance documents. He also regularly drafts commercial contracts across numerous sectors and has deep knowledge of the Companies Law, Commercial Law, Labour Law, Civil Law, Aviation Law and Intellectual Property Law. Prior to 2014, Ala’ worked as a senior associate in Dentons’ Amman office for seven years before setting up his own legal practice.
