King & Spalding Advises Roper Industries on $1 Billion Acquisition of MHA

King & Spalding advised Roper Industries, Inc., on its acquisition of Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA), for $1.0 billion in cash. The transaction closed on May 1.

Roper Industries is a diversified growth company that provides engineered products and solutions for global niche markets, including software information networks, medical, water, energy and transportation. MHA, based in Florham Park, N.J., provides services and technologies for alternate-site health care providers.
