King & Spalding advised Roper Industries, Inc., on its acquisition of Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA), for $1.0 billion in cash. The transaction closed on May 1.

MHA, based in Florham Park, N.J., provides services and technologies for alternate-site health care providers.
