Further bolstering its New Jersey real estate practice, Fox Rothschild LLP welcomes Michael T. Lavigne as a partner.
Lavigne joins the recently added eight-attorney team of Robert A. Klausner, Deirdre E. Moore, Christopher M. Rider, Grace J. Shin, Mat D. Carlson, Jennifer L. Solberg, Joshua J. Franklin and Corey D. Kaplan, who moved their real estate practice from Day Pitney LLP to Fox in February and will spearhead the opening of a Fox office in Morristown, NJ, in the summer of 2013.
Currently ranked #6 among New Jersey law firms by the New Jersey Law Journal, Fox has three offices in the state with more than 150 attorneys.

Additionally, Lavigne represents clients before New Jersey municipal, county and state permitting authorities to help them obtain required site plan, subdivision, variance and environmental approvals in connection with their residential and commercial developments, including mixed-use redevelopment projects. He also counsels telecommunication providers in obtaining zoning approvals for the construction of wireless facilities.
Lavigne provides strategic representation in real estate acquisitions, financing and development, helping clients to maximize their opportunities. He guides purchasers, sellers, developers, designated redevelopers, landlords and tenants in the acquisition, sale, leasing and development of residential and commercial real estate throughout New Jersey. He also advises borrowers and lending institutions in commercial real estate financing transactions.
Lavigne earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1994 and his B.A. from Brown University in 1988.
