Williams Mullen Welcomes Labor and Employment Attorney Laura Windsor

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Laura Windsor has joined our firm as a Partner in our Labor and Employment practice. Ms. Windsor comes from Troutman Sanders, where she worked as an associate for nine years before becoming of counsel.

Ms. Windsor focuses her practice on employment and employee benefits litigation and client counseling. She has advised businesses in all areas of employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, restrictive covenant, general employment, federal contract compliance and breach of employment contract litigation, as well as client counseling for public and private companies, non-profit agencies, and religious affiliated organizations. She also has experience as an employee benefits litigator, including the defense of disability, life and health insurance claims under ERISA and state law. In addition to her regular practice, Laura provides corporate training in sexual harassment laws, wage and hour laws, the Family Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ms. Windsor is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned her J.D. She received recognition from Virginia Business Magazine, being named among their Legal Elite in 2009 and 2011 and a Young Lawyer in 2012. Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine selected her as a “Rising Star” in 2012.
