Taub Joins Porter Wright as Litigator in Washington, D.C.

With extensive first chair experience in complex commercial disputes throughout the country, Steven P. Taub has joined the Washington, D.C. office of Porter Wright as a partner in its Litigation Department.

“We are pleased to add Steve’s deep experience in the defense of class action lawsuits involving contract, tort, products liability and property rights claims to our litigation team,” said Richard McHugh, partner-in-charge of Porter Wright’s Washington, D.C. office.

Taub specializes in representing sophisticated clients in contract, tort, products liability and property rights claims, and in the defense of class action lawsuits. He has served as national counsel for Fortune 500 companies facing multiple claims in different jurisdictions. His practice also includes significant experience in investigations, litigation involving financial institutions and the insurance industry. Taub has prevailed in numerous commercial cases in state and federal courts and has helped clients obtain positive results in arbitration and by out of court settlements.

Taub received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude. He is admitted to the District of Columbia, New York and Maryland bars.
