Tamra Wilson Setser Joins Armstrong Teasdale

Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of Tamra Wilson Setser as a partner in its Kansas City office. Wilson Setser, a 30-year veteran of employment law, is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group.

Wilson Setser provides practical, sophisticated advice to complex legal problems unique to the labor and employment arena. She is a seasoned mediator and arbitrator, assisting organizations in proactively dealing with potential liability and conflicts.

She understands the risks of any work environment and defends employers in matters involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wages. Wilson Setser also provides valuable day-to-day preventative counseling, HR policy/practice compliance reviews and I-9 audits, review and drafting of employment-related agreements and contracts, employee handbooks and policies. She regularly presents in-house training programs on such topics as discrimination, retaliation and sexual harassment, ADA accommodation and general leadership and compliant manager training.

Wilson Setser earned her J.D. from University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law and B.S. in English and Public Administration from Missouri State University. Admitted to practice in Missouri, she is a member of The Missouri Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Society of Human Resource Management.
