Corporate Finance Team Joins Greenberg Traurig’s Chicago Office

The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP said today that Charles J. Kolin and David J. LaSota have joined its Chicago office as shareholders in the Corporate & Securities Practice. Prior to joining the firm, Kolin and LaSota were partners with Chapman and Cutler LLP.

Kolin will continue to focus his practice on corporate, project and infrastructure finance transactions (both domestic and cross-border), with an emphasis on institutional private placements of debt securities. He has experience across a wide range of industries, including facility infrastructure, oil and gas, pipeline and storage, real estate, water, agriculture and public housing – with transactions in the billions of dollars.

LaSota will focus his practice on structured corporate finance transactions, including credit tenant loans, project finance, government contract finance and other institutional private placement offerings of debt (both secured and unsecured).

Both Kolin and LaSota represent insurance companies, pension funds, banks, finance companies and other institutional investors.
