The International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP said today that Ameer I. Ahmad has joined its Chicago office as a shareholder in the Corporate & Securities Practice. Prior to joining the firm, Ahmad was a partner with DLA Piper.
Ahmad will continue concentrate his practice on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, restructuring and general corporate governance. He advises public companies and financial sponsors across a broad range of industries on corporate, securities and transactional-related matters.

Ahmad earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, and his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
