National law firm Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton (Nelson Levine) announced today that Michael S. Savett has joined the firm as a partner in the Insurance Coverage Practice, resident in New Jersey.
A seasoned insurance attorney with a national practice including New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York, Mr. Savett has been representing insurers in coverage and bad faith issues for more than 15 years. He handles a broad range of matters, including commercial liability, automobile, environmental, property, directors and officers, and professional liability. His expansive insurance experience also includes serving as claims counsel for a multi-line property and casualty insurer. In that role, he coordinated environmental liability and construction claims, and analyzed policies to determine coverage of potential liabilities. Mr. Savett earned his B.A. in political science from The University of Delaware and his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. Prior to joining Nelson Levine, he was a partner at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP.
