International Trade Partner Mark Lunn Joins SNR Denton in Washington, DC

SNR Denton is pleased to announce that Mark Lunn has joined the firm’s Washington, DC, office as a partner in the International Trade practice.

Lunn has an extensive and varied background representing clients in trade disputes and advises manufacturers and government entities on a broad range of cross-border and regulatory matters, such as global trade policy, global trade litigation, export controls and sanctions, anticorruption statutes (including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), customs, antidumping and the Buy America provisions of government contracting law. He also has experience with regulatory matters impacting importers, including food safety regulations and labeling requirements. He has practiced extensively in Russia, India, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mexico and Chile.

“Mark’s arrival is a strong addition to the firm at this exceptional moment in time as we prepare to grow our international platform,” said Mike McNamara, US managing partner and head of the Public Policy and Regulation practice. “His deep knowledge surrounding international trade and the extent to which he has practiced in foreign jurisdictions brings to our already deep bench a first-rate, highly respected lawyer who will have an immediate positive impact on our clients worldwide.”

The depth of Lunn’s international trade experience—including anti-dumping and trade remedies; trade disputes before the World Trade Organization, International Trade Administration, Department of Commerce and the Federal Circuit; trade policy; customs; and export controls—will compliment the firm’s growing International Trade practice while adding extra heft to the Public Policy and Regulation team.

“As international trade law continues to rapidly change, I am happy to have joined a firm with a strong team of lawyers and professionals that is continuously growing and evolving to better meet client needs,” said Lunn.

Lunn received his J.D. cum laude, from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America and his M.A. from the University of Kentucky. He joins SNR Denton from Arent Fox LLP.
