SNR Denton is pleased to announce that Sylvain Dhennin has joined the firm’s London office as a partner in the Banking and Finance practice. Sylvain’s role will involve expanding the European high yield market, particularly in France where he has an excellent track record and strong connections.
Sylvain joins from the London office of French law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he spent the last four years. He is a New York qualified securities lawyer who commenced his legal career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in London. He then spent three years at JP Morgan’s DCM transaction execution group where he was responsible for execution on high yield issues as well as French and German capital markets transactions before joining Gide.
During his four years at Gide, Sylvain represented both issuers and initial purchasers on high yield bond issues, as well as exchange offers and other emerging market transactions.

The arrival of Sylvain, the latest of a number of recent appointments to the SNR Denton EMEA Banking and Finance department, comes just one month after the firm welcomed Samantha Hutchinson, an expert in the area of fund finance.
