Brown Rudnick LLP is pleased to announce that Tim Matthews has joined the Firm as a Partner in the London office. Mr. Matthews, formerly of WilmerHale, joins the Firm’s Corporate Practice.
Mr. Matthews brings to the team experience representing clients in relation to takeovers, mergers, acquisitions and sales, company reorganisations and LLP conversions. He acts for UK-listed, international and private companies particularly in the technology and life science sectors. His practice areas also cover UK corporate governance, business ethics and anti-corruption/bribery.
Mr. Matthews is regularly ranked and recognised in industry publications and is currently listed as a “Leading Individual” in Legal 500 and Chambers UK.
Mr. Matthews is a graduate of Southampton University. He qualified at Simmons & Simmons’ London Office and remained in their Corporate Finance Department and has practiced as a partner at both Clyde & co and WilmerHale.
Across the US, Europe and emerging markets, Brown Rudnick’s International Corporate team represents businesses at all stages of development, including start-ups, emerging growth companies, multi-national public companies and large institutional private businesses. Mr. Matthews joins a team that frequently advise on cross-border and emerging market transactions and represent and work closely with the investment banking community and a broad range of investors and funds including family offices and private equity, venture capital and hedge funds.
