McDermott Advises Barnes Group in $550 Million Sale of North American Distribution Business

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery LLP represented Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE:B), an international aerospace and industrial manufacturing and service provider, in connection with a definitive agreement providing for the sale of the Barnes Distribution North America business (“BDNA”) to MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. (“MSC”) for $550 million, subject to certain adjustments.

The BDNA Business provides inventory management services and customized supply chain solutions for maintenance, repair and operating supplies principally in the United States and Canada.
