Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. Adds Michael E. Dahm to Corporate Practice Group

The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. (WHD) is pleased to announce the addition of Michael E. Dahm to its Corporate Practice Group, where he is a member of the Corporate TransactionsEmerging & Entrepreneurial Companies and Securities teams.

Dahm has extensive experience in private investment fund management, including guidance to SEC registered investment advisers, privately negotiated transactions, capital markets trading activities, fund formation and marketing, and investor relations. In addition, Dahm has a wide variety of transactional and business law experience. He has provided counsel on acquisitions and sales of businesses in a variety of industries, investments in early stage companies, joint ventures, auctions of private fund interests, participations, and alternative financings.

Dahm’s experience includes both private practice and a position as an associate general counsel for one of the largest global multi-strategy hedge funds, which conducted domestic and international operations from its various worldwide offices, including Milwaukee, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Toronto. As in-house counsel, Dahm provided guidance on all areas of the business, including strategic planning, risk mitigation, compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, and commercial contract negotiation, as well as oversight of litigation and management of outside counsel.

Dahm earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and his B.S. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin.
