Ashurst Advises Crédit Agricole on the Refinancing of the Gras Savoye Group’s Debt

Ashurst has advised Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel de Paris et d’Ile-de-France (“Crédit Agricole Ile De France”) and Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel de Nord France (“Crédit Agricole Nord De France”) on the refinancing of the existing LBO debt of the Gras Savoye group.

Gras Savoye is a French insurance and reinsurance broker set up in 1907. Today, it is the largest insurance broker in France and the tenth world broker. With 3,800 employees and a turnover of 555 million euros (2011), Gras Savoye has offices in more than 40 countries and has clients in more than 100.

Ashurst acted as advisor to the lenders on the repayment of Gras Savoye SAS’s existing debt.

The Ashurst team advising the arrangers Crédit Agricole Ile De France and Crédit Agricole Nord De France was composed of partner Diane Sénéchal and associates Pierre RouxConstance d’HeucquevilleMarie Roche and Sadri Desenne-Djoudi on the banking law aspects.
