Paul, Weiss Adds Litigator in Washington, D.C.

Alexandra (Alex) Walsh has joined Paul, Weiss as a partner in its litigation department, resident in Washington, D.C., where she will focus her practice on white collar criminal litigation, civil litigation, internal corporate investigations and appellate litigation.

Ms. Walsh has been recognized by Washingtonian magazine as one of its “40 Top Lawyers Under 40” in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Walsh served as a law clerk for Justice Stephen G. Breyer of the United States Supreme Court and for the Honorable Merrick B. Garland of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. She is a member of the Advisory Committee on Procedures for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Deputy Chair of the ABA White Collar Crime Committee for the D.C. region and a member of the Edward Bennett Williams Inn of Court. Ms. Walsh earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and of the Stanford Law Review’s Managing Board, and her B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Bowdoin College.
