Linklaters announces that Professor Dr Wilhelm Haarmann has been elected a partner in Germany. He is a founding partner of the law firm Haarmann.

Wilhelm Haarmann is an acknowledged expert for tax mandates and mainly advises on tax mandates and corporate transactions in the fields of M&A, private equity and venture capital. He is also an arbitrator in large-scale arbitration proceedings. Wilhelm Haarmann is a member of the supervisory board of SAP AG and author of numerous publications. An honorary professor for tax law at the University of Bamberg, he is also chairman of the Institute of Auditors’ tax committee and a member of the executive board of the International Fiscal Association’s German section. From 2005 until 2009 he was a member of the board of the German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and he was a member of the World Economic Forum for 15 years (until 2007).
