Baker Donelson Continues Atlanta Office Growth with Two New Attorneys

Joseph R. Delgado Jr. and Michael S. Haber have joined the Atlanta office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC. Mr. Delgado and Mr. Haber join as members of the Firm’s Business Department.

Mr. Delgado, who joins the Firm as a shareholder, represents clients in all aspects of corporate and partnership law and handles a variety of securities issues for both public and private companies. Mr. Delgado also serves as outside general counsel for a variety of emerging companies. A 1996 graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law, Mr. Delgado is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta and American Bar Associations. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Georgia Super Lawyers and is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Business and Finance Section Board of Directors and the Tax Care Clinic Advisory Board.

Mr. Haber joins the firm as senior counsel and is a corporate lawyer focused on financial institutions with a national practice centered on commercial transactions and bankruptcy law. He advises a diverse constituency in restructuring and bankruptcy cases, and also advises lending institutions on issues such as loan structuring, workouts and lender liability issues. A 1973 cum laude graduate of the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, Mr. Haber has been listed in Georgia Super Lawyers since 2007 and in Chambers USA since 2010 and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. He is a member of the board of directors for The Fragile Kids Foundation and for the Academic Assistance Program.
