Dickinson Wright LLP is pleased to announce that Wendy Hulton has joined the firm as Partner.
Ms. Hulton has over 20 years of experience in the area of product regulation. She provides advice to manufacturers, importers and retailers on a broad range of regulatory and marketing law issues, including advertising & promotions, regulatory compliance, product liability & product recall, manufacturing contracts and distribution agreements. She is retained by clients throughout Canada, the U.S. and internationally to assist with a broad range of regulatory and marketing law matters.
Ms. Hulton also provides practical and timely advice to international clients on matters related to product licensing, privacy, E-commerce, social media, cross-border product recalls, product packaging and labelling, comparative advertising campaigns, coupon and gift card promotions, mandatory reporting and record keeping requirements pursuant to the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. On behalf of clients, she negotiates with Health Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and other government regulators on a broad range of regulatory matters.
Ms. Hulton is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the County of York Law Association, Advertising Standards Canada, the Canadian Health Food Association, the Canadian Association of Regulatory Affairs, Canadian Cosmetics Toiletry and Fragrance Association, Consumer Health Products Canada and the Direct Sellers Association. Ms. Hulton received her Hons. B.A. from the University of Toronto and her LL.B. from the Osgood Hall Law School.
