Stoel Rives Opens Office in Washington, D.C.

Stoel Rives LLP, a U.S. law firm, today announced that it has opened a satellite office in Washington, D.C. The new office is headed by firm partner Greg Jenner, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury for Tax Policy.

“Washington, D.C. is a natural fit for our firm,” said Stoel Rives Managing Partner Bob Van Brocklin. “Our presence there allows us to provide on-the-ground access to Congress, federal administrators and U.S. departments, agencies and bureaus for businesses that are federally regulated or have an interest in a federal policy matter, including those in energy, transportation, foreign trade, telecommunications, food and alcohol manufacturing and distribution, sports apparel and footwear, aviation, timber, health care, technology and general manufacturing, among others.”

“This is a homecoming for me, having been active for more than two decades in the making and implementation of policy at the federal level,” said Jenner. “Our clients will be the ultimate beneficiaries of our D.C. presence. Access to federal policymakers, key regulators and regulatory forums is critical to serving the business interests of our client base, and I look forward to helping facilitate those interactions.”

Stoel Rives represents businesses at all stages of growth, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, including financial institutions, energy, forestry, and telecommunications companies, real estate developers, manufacturers, retailers, hospitals, universities, agribusinesses, software companies and charitable foundations.
