Leading Property Partner Joins the Lander & Rogers Team

Law firm Lander & Rogers announced that it has appointed leading property lawyer, Julian Olley, as a partner in its Property, Projects & Infrastructure team in the firm’s Sydney office.

Julian has more than 19 years experience in property law. He joins the firm from Norton Rose Australia, where he has operated a highly successful property law practice for over five years.

Julian has advised on all forms of commercial and government real estate transactions, including the sale, acquisition, development and leasing of substantial commercial, industrial and retail buildings for both landowners and corporate tenants.

Julian has assisted both state and federal governments in their real estate portfolio management. He also has experience with sophisticated and unusual real estate transactions, including air-bridge leasing and sales, wind farms and sport and entertainment venue developments.

Says Julian: “Culture was the key driver in my move to Lander & Rogers. I believe Lander & Rogers offers the best fit not only for my practice but for me, providing an opportunity for me to participate in building an even stronger real estate law practice in Sydney, within a respectful and appreciative working environment.”

Chief Executive Partner & Practice Group Head, Andrew Willder, said: “Julian’s background and expertise will complement our team’s existing property, urban planning and construction capability, and I am confident that he will prove a valuable asset to our clients and firm.”

Julian is joined by Senior Associate, Georgina Chan. Georgina has advised on all forms of commercial and government real estate transactions, including the sale of substantial commercial buildings and overseeing the development and leasing of major commercial and retail interests. She has also assisted both state and federal governments in their real estate portfolio.
