Fox Rothschild Boosts Labor and Employment Law Capabilities in West Palm Beach With Addition of Diane J. Geller

Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome veteran employment law attorney Diane J. Geller as a partner in the firm’s West Palm Beach office.

Geller primarily represents clients in the staffing industry and brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm. She is a former general counsel for a multimillion-dollar publicly traded company in the staffing and funding industry, as well as former in-house counsel, providing management of the legal needs and risk management for businesses in the propane gas, medical, dental and insurance service industries. Geller also handles a variety of corporate matters.

Geller is a nationally recognized author and speaker on employment law topics – including the complex role of social media in the workplace – at staffing industry and contingent workforce events throughout the United States. She frequently appears as a guest speaker at numerous annual conferences, summits and forums.

In her legal practice, Geller works with clients to prepare various employment agreements, affirmative action plans, employee policy handbooks and social media policies. She represents management on matters related to the use of independent contractors, confidentiality and employment agreements, policies and procedures, reductions in force, separation agreements and covenants not to compete, and she counsels employers on matters related to harassment and discrimination.

Additionally, she handles inquiries from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security and has represented clients before the EEOC, the National Labor Relations Board, the Human Rights Commissions and various local arbitration associations.

Geller also provides general counsel to a range of large and small privately owned and public companies, assisting in contract negotiations and drafting, employment matters, franchise law issues and general corporate matters. She negotiates and structures documentation for purchase or sale of businesses and corporate entities.

Geller serves on the board of directors for the Florida Staffing Association and is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Staffing Association, TechServ Alliance, the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Bar Association.

She earned her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1978, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Long Island University, C.W. Post Center in 1975. Geller is admitted to practice in Florida, New York, Tennessee and Virginia.
