International law firm Salans has advised a fund conducted by BayernLB Capital Partner on the acquisition of an equity investment and a mezzanine financing of the IFA Rotorion group, based in Haldensleben. The consulting was comprised of essential transaction-relevant legal and structural issues as well as transaction management.
The transaction took place within the scope of a shareholder change and the Group’s further expansion and served an extensive share buyback by the company.
As a top 50 company in te German automotive industry, the IFA Rotorion Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of longitudinal shafts. With about 1,300 employees, the Group generated a turnover of approximately EUR 400 million in the past year.
