Former NJ Superior Court Judge Rejoins Capehart Scatchard

Capehart Scatchard is pleased to announce that former NJ Superior Court Judge Robert H. C. Crook has rejoined the firm as a member of the Government Affairs Department in its Trenton office.

A Mount Laurel resident, Mr. Crook focuses his practice on governmental, administrative/regulatory, and complex litigation matters. He represents governmental and private entities, as well as individuals, with respect to laws governing employment, civil service and municipal matters. Mr. Crook is also available to provide civil mediation services.

Mr. Crook’s distinguished judicial career includes six years of service, from 2007-2012, as a Superior Court Judge in Burlington County, a position from which he resigned. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was the Solicitor for Burlington County from 1996-2007, in private practice as an associate with Capehart Scatchard from 1994-1996 and served as Assistant Burlington County Solicitor from 1987-1993.

He received his B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. Mr. Crook is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
