Roetzel is pleased to announce that Jayne E. Juvan has joined the firm’s Business Services group as a partner in the firm’s Cleveland office.
“Jayne’s addition is a very positive one for the Cleveland office and the Business Services practice group,” said Doug Spiker, Partner-in-Charge of the Cleveland office. “We are very happy to start the new year by welcoming Jayne to the firm and look forward to the many contributions we are sure she will make.”
Ms. Juvan serves as counsel to public and high-growth private companies, private equity funds and venture capital funds on complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, strategic alliances and joint ventures. She also counsels clients on corporate finance, securities law compliance, sophisticated business law matters and a broad range of corporate governance issues, including director due diligence and selection, board and committee structures, fiduciary duties and conflicts of interest.
Active in the community, Ms. Juvan participated in the Cleveland Leadership Center’s Bridge Builders Flagship Program and the YWCA Leadership Boot Camp Program. She also teaches a program on constitutional law and career development, called “3Rs – Rights, Responsibilities, Realities,” at Cleveland high schools.
Ms. Juvan received her undergraduate degree from Kent State University and her law degree from Capital University, where she graduated summa cum laude and served as the editor-in-chief of the Capital University Law Review.
