Jenner & Block recently represented Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (ATN) on communications-related aspects of its $780 million deal to sell Alltel to AT&T.
In the deal, announced January 22, AT&T will acquire spectrum, operations and about 585,000 subscribers in rural areas across six states. The Firm will now represent ATN in securing approval for the deal from the Federal Communications Commission. The companies expect to complete the transaction later this year. The Firm team is led by Partners John Flynn and Samuel L. Feder and includes Associates Micah J. Cogen and David M. Didion.
