Dorsey Adds Highly Regarded Construction and Government Contract Partners To Seattle Office

International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Traeger Machetanz and Jon DeMella have joined the Firm’s Seattle office as Partners. Mr. Machetanz’s practice focuses on construction-related matters and he is widely known in the Seattle and Anchorage, Alaska construction industry communities. Mr. DeMella’s practice focuses on government contract issues and he has a strong background in the complexities of various government contract programs, regulations and the bidding and bid protest processes. Mr. Machetanz and Mr. DeMella are two key strategic recruitments as Dorsey continues to build full-service construction and government contracts practices serving the Seattle and Anchorage markets.

Mr. Machetanz and Mr. DeMella were previously partners with Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, LLP. Mr. Machetanz received a B.A. from Willamette University and a J.D. from the University of Washington. Mr. DeMella received a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.
