Greenberg Traurig Bolsters Its Health Care Practice with the Addition of Carla E. Hogan in Albany

The international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP announced that Carla Hogan has joined its Albany office as a shareholder in the Health & FDA Business and Labor & Employment practices. She will counsel clients on regulatory, transactional and litigation matters.

Hogan represents both publicly traded and privately held businesses, as well as health care providers in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other contractual arrangements. She also represents providers in professional discipline matters and has experience defending audits.

Hogan also provides employment counseling to businesses and public sector entities, including guidance in Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. She has defended employers in federal, state and administrative proceedings on employment discrimination charges and Fair Labor Standards Act actions and has also litigated on behalf of employers regarding employment contracts and non-compete agreements. She has negotiated collective bargaining agreements on behalf of both public and private employers.

Hogan holds a J.D., cum laude, from Union University, Albany Law School and a B.A. from Hobart & William Smith Colleges.
