Veteran Federal Lobbyist and Lawyer Singleton McAllister Joins Williams Mullen from Blank Rome

Williams Mullen is proud to announce that Singleton B. McAllister has joined the Washington D.C. office of Williams Mullen as a Partner in the Federal Government Relations practice. She joins the firm from Blank Rome where she worked in its Government Relations practice.

Ms. McAllister focuses her practice on federal government relations, telecommunications, health care, education, and international business development. She has been a leader in government relations and public policy law for over 20 years having served in numerous positions with the U.S. House of Representatives and as senior counsel to the House Budget Committee. Ms. McAllister was appointed by former President Clinton as the General Counsel to the United States Agency for International Development. She was a former Chair of the National Women’s Business Center and a past President of Women in Government Relations, Inc. In 2012, On Being a Black Lawyer magazine named her one of the Nation’s “Top Black Lawyers with Influence.”

Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania, Ms. McAllister received her juris doctor from Howard University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
