International law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP today announced the appointment of Mike Pierides to its partnership. Mike is the latest addition to Pillsbury’s Global Sourcing practice section in the firm’s London office. He joins from Pinsent Masons where he was a partner in that firm’s TMT & Sourcing Group.
Throughout his career Mike has focused on outsourcing and procurement and has substantial experience in the areas of Business Process and Information Technology Outsourcing. He has represented a wide range of clients including financial institutions, government authorities and technology companies as well as those operating in the telecoms, insurance and energy sectors.
Mike has worked extensively with both customers and suppliers, which provides him with the ability to bring a holistic perspective of the entire outsourcing industry when advising on transactions.
Mike is joined by senior associates Simon Lightman and Alistair Charleton, both of whom have extensive outsourcing experience and bring significant strength to Pillsbury’s Global Sourcing team in London.

Mike completed his LPC from the College of Law and his LLB from the University of Manchester.
