Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, announces the addition of Andy Rotenstreich and Thomas J. Buchanan to the Firm’s Birmingham office.

Mr. Rotenstreich, who joins Baker Donelson as shareholder and a member of the Real Estate and Finance practice group, has a wide-ranging wireless telecommunications practice and represents most wireless carriers in the state of Alabama and throughout much of the southeast, as well as tower companies and other telecommunications industry clients. His experience in the telecommunications industry also includes regulatory matters, site acquisition and development and related real estate matters. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Rotenstreich is the founder and president of the Alabama Wireless Association, and is a frequent speaker on telecommunications before industry and legal groups. He is a member of the Alabama Broadband Initiative, as well as the Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Buchanan joins the Firm as of counsel and a member of the Real Estate and Finance practice group. He represents clients in all aspects of the telecommunications industry. He served for nine years as general counsel of a wireless telecommunications service, where he represented the company in regulatory matters, site acquisition, tower construction, retail development and employment matters. A graduate of the Birmingham School of Law, Mr. Buchanan is a member of the Blount County, Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations. He is also active in civic and community affairs in Blount County, including serving as chairman of the Utilities Board of the City of Oneonta.
