Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, announces the addition of Carla Gunnin to the Firm’s Atlanta office.
Ms. Gunnin, who joins as a shareholder and a member of Baker Donelson’s Atlanta Labor & Employment Department, focuses her national practice on labor relations matters and occupational safety and health issues. She litigates cases before federal and state administrative tribunals throughout the United States in matters of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) law and Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) law. Prior to going into private practice, Ms. Gunnin represented the U.S. Department of Labor as a trial attorney.
“With her 20-plus years in practice and her experience with more than 15 different state OSHA boards, Carla brings a strong background in OSHA law that will serve our clients well. A frequent speaker on OSHA and MSHA compliance and defense issues, Ms. Gunnin has appeared before Society for Human Resource Professionals and spoken for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Organization Resource Counselors Worldwide and the American Meat Institute. She is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law and is a member of the Alabama, Georgia and American Bar Associations.
