International law firm Dechert LLP announced today that Jeremy B. Zucker has joined the firm as a partner in the International Trade practice in Washington, D.C. Zucker was most recently a partner at Hogan Lovells LLP.

We feel he is a strong partner around whom we can build our U.S. trade practice,” said Daniel O’Donnell, the firm’s Chief Executive Officer. “Together with our EU team, Jeremy’s exceptional trade practice experience will enable us to meet our clients’ global needs.”
Zucker concentrates his practice on international trade regulatory compliance matters. He advises clients on the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He also counsels on matters concerning the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the anti-money laundering provisions of the USA Patriot Act, and economic sanctions programs under the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
He has advised on numerous transactions undergoing national security review under the Exon–Florio Amendment by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and he regularly represents clients before the U.S. Departments of Defense, Commerce, Justice, Treasury, State and Homeland Security.

A graduate of Yale University (B.A., 1993), Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government (M.P.P., 1997) and New York University School of Law (J.D., 2000), Zucker is admitted to the Bar in New York and the District of Columbia.
