Bird & Bird has further strengthened its international brand management capability with new partners Rebecca Delorey and Nathalie Ruffin who join the firm’s Paris office today.
Rebecca and Nathalie come from Gilbey Delorey where they were both partners. They are intellectual property specialists with particular focus on trademarks and industrial designs. Rebecca has extensive experience of both contentious and transactional aspects of protecting, enforcing and managing trademarks, industrial designs and other soft IP assets. Nathalie is a highly regarded anti-counterfeit lawyer, advising national and international organisations on integrated anti-counterfeit solutions and coordinating transnational anti-counterfeit programs.
These hires follow those of other brand management experts Lorraine Tay in Singapore and Allan Poulter in London, earlier this year.
Morag Macdonald, co-head of Bird & Bird’s International IP Group comments: “We are delighted to welcome Rebecca and Nathalie to the firm. We have one of the world’s best IP teams and our new partners’ expertise will be a great asset to our brand management practice which we have significantly strengthened this year.”
Rebecca Delorey comments: “Nathalie and I are very pleased to be joining the firm. Bird & Bird’s reputation in IP and indeed throughout the range of legal disciplines is exemplary. We are looking forward to working with our new colleagues in Paris and the wider international team.”
