Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and an office in Naples, FL, is pleased to announce that Rachael Loukonen has joined the firm’s Naples office as a partner. Loukonen, board certified by the Florida Bar in business litigation, focuses her practice on litigation and dispute resolution. She represents businesses and individuals in matters involving complex property, commercial business, construction, and employment issues.
Loukonen previously worked at another Naples-area law firm where her responsibilities included pretrial motions, preliminary hearings, depositions, arbitrations, evidentiary hearings, mediations, witness and expert preparation, trials, and appellate proceedings.
Loukonen received a Bachelor of Science and JD from the University of Florida. She is an active member of the American Bar Association; the Florida Bar, Litigation Section; the Collier County Bar Association, Trial Lawyers Section; the American Inns of Court, Thomas L. Biggs Section; and the Collier County Women’s Bar Association where she currently serves as president. Loukonen is a member of the Leadership Collier Class of 2010.
Loukonen was recognized by Gulfshore Business Magazine as one of Southwest Florida’s top 40 leaders under 40 years old and was named a Rising Star in the 2010, 2011, and 2012 editions of Florida Super Lawyers.
