Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Jay Printz as a partner in its London office.
Jay is the former General Counsel of SBM Offshore Group, a leading provider of floating production systems for the offshore oil & gas sector, and in such capacity has extensive experience in advising on and negotiating large scale offshore oil exploration and production projects. He joins WFW in order to further develop the firm’s practice in the offshore energy sector, acting for operators of floating production systems and developers and financiers of oil & gas projects.
Michael Greville, WFW managing partner, commented: “Jay’s experience fits perfectly into an important and growing area at the heart of WFW’s practice, where the related sectors of energy, oil & gas and shipping converge. His recruitment demonstrates the strength of our position in that market and our confidence in it. I am pleased to welcome him to the firm.”
Jay Printz said: “Joining WFW is a natural next step for my career path, and I am excited to be part of a firm with such a prestigious reputation in my areas of interest and expertise. Everything is in place to complete a market-leading FPSO practice.”
