Masuda Funai Adds Bob Karr to its Business Practice

Robert W. Karr, Jr. has joined Masuda Funai’s Chicago office as a Principal in the firm’s Business Group.

Karr, formerly with the Chicago office of Jones Day, brings more than 12 years of experience advising corporations with the development and implementation of their global strategic plans through a broad range of transactions, including the formation of new entities, mergers, divestitures and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic alliances.

His experience spans all aspects of corporate and transactional work, and he regularly negotiates, prepares and reviews acquisition, joint venture, sales and distribution, and technology licensing agreements. Karr’s vast industry experience includes the aviation, chemical, construction, manufacturing, technology and transportation sectors.
