Fowler White Boggs Welcomes Dwayne Dickerson to its Fort Lauderdale Office

Dwayne L. Dickerson has joined the Fort Lauderdale office of Fowler White Boggs as a shareholder. Mr. Dickerson represents developers, property owners and local governments seeking development entitlements and environmental permit approvals for their real estate projects. Additionally, he routinely negotiates with town, city and county officials; counsels clients regarding environmental and land use development issues; prepares development applications for submittal to local governmental bodies; presents development projects at town, city and county commission meetings and various board meetings; drafts agreements and performs due diligence research related to clients’ potential land acquisitions.

“Dwayne brings tremendous talent, experience and high energy to our land use practice,” said Terrence Russell, managing shareholder of the Fort Lauderdale office. “His understanding of the South Florida real estate market will be an immediate asset for our clients.”

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dickerson was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable George W. Maxwell III of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in Brevard County, Florida. He was also Chief of Staff for the past President of the National Bar Association (NBA) and presently serves on the organization’s Membership Committee. He received his B.A. from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
