Stoel Rives Welcomes Two New Corporate Attorneys to Its Minneapolis Office

Stoel Rives LLP, a leading U.S. business law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of two veteran corporate attorneys to its Minneapolis office. Robert Kukuljan joins the firm as a partner in the Corporate group, and Laurie Huotari joins as Of Counsel to that group.

Kukuljan focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities and regulatory compliance, corporate governance and commercial transactions. He has advised clients in a variety of industries including medical device, biopharmaceutical, retail, health, technology and e-commerce, products and services, manufacturing and financial services. His transactional experience includes public and private debt and equity offerings, venture capital-backed equity and debt offerings, and strategic partner investment transactions.

Huotari has extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, company reorganizations, corporate governance, private equity financing, commercial transactions, and joint venture and strategic alliances. She also advises start-up businesses on entity and general corporate matters. Her clients include retail, health, technology and e-commerce, life science devices, products and services, insurance, and entertainment companies.

Kukuljan is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 1992, cum laude), where he was managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.S., 1988). He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Wisconsin. Previously, Kukuljan was a shareholder at Nilan Johnson Lewis, P.A. and a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP.

Huotari is a graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., 2001, cum laude), where she served as an editor of the William Mitchell Law Review, and the College of St. Benedict (B.A., 1993). She is admitted to practice in Minnesota. Previously, she was a shareholder at Nilan Johnson Lewis, P.A. and an attorney at Gray Plant Mooty.
